Time passes by so quickly. Before I know it, spring break has come and gone, and now it is again time to evaluate my PE progress in this blog.
I believe I have improved from last semester (somewhat). I identified problems that I still had from the first semester I deal with them to some extent. I became better at saying し、ち、じ and す、つ、ず. I became better that distinguishing rise and fall in intonation.
However, I also have realized that when I have a conversation, I tend to be unable to pronounce words properly. I found it very challenging to think of things to say and to say it right at the same time. Thus, I will it my goal this second half of spring semester to say things more slowly, however, with more correct pronunciation. I will add the following goals into my plan.
1) I will go to sensei's office hours at least 4 times per month to practice conversation.
2) I will do PE that is more involved with conversation.
Hopefully, I can become more proficient at pronunciation even in actual conversation by the end of this semester.
